Here is a photo blog of some of my best moments enjoying cherry blossom in Hunza Valley Pakistan. I took these pictures during my first and short tour in 2017.

Stopping to admire wildflowers, on way from Islamabad

Somewhere near Chilas, not minding the wait for traffic jam at all

First morning, First impression of Hunza from out hotel lobby

Seeing the Cherry Blossom on the streets

Taking a boat ride on Lake Attabad

Soaking in the sun reflecting on turquoise blue water

Spectacular views of Passu cones, on our way to Khunjerab Pass

And then we crossed the dangerous Hussaini Bridge which was party dry.

And tried a local delicacy Doudou with Kuruthze

Next morning caught a rainbow at Eagles Nest view point

Reached there before sunrise to say our sun salutations & see the peaks glow.

More roaming in the valley for Cherry Blossom hues

Headed to Altit Fort for a lesson in history

and architecture

and stories about Hunza settlers from back in the day.

The Royal Garden at Altit fort was the most gorgeous place to experience Cherry Blossom

And I found a little lamb in the valley to chase.

You have to visit Hunza Valley to experience Cherry Blossom in Pakistan!
